News is known to all but as a journalist you have to narrate The Story. Journalism taught me the art of telling stories in the most restricted environments.

As a reporter you work on various stories pertaining to crime beat, city news, consumer-based stories and special shows. You interact with suicide victims, rape survivors, forced begging groups, children from rehabs and many more. I got to meet NGOs fighting for the right of just behaviour towards animals, eradication of farmer suicides, eradicating child trafficking, eradication of domestic violence and many more.

Some stories will make you cry, some will make you laugh, some will force you to reflect on your actions as a citizen. I came across so many people whose journey and struggles had to be told to the world. It was my earnest desire to narrate these stories and bring them to light in the proper manner. I soon realised that the news cycle is short and everchanging. A story I file could get lost in the daily shifting headlines

A movie however is something that stands the vagaries. A good movie on top of that is remembered for all times and the issues it raises have a greater impact. That's when I had my moment of realisation, my moment of Epiphany so to speak and I shared my desire to start a production house with my brother Tej. He encouraged me and thus "Epiphany Entertainment" was born.

I began gathering the stories I viewed, heard and covered during my days as a journalist. We are also working on bringing to light some biopics and are always on the lookout for interesting and unconventional stories. Starting this production house means giving wings to those untold stories. We narrate stories to make a difference. Not the usual, the unusual.
